Personal developmentw142h142 Our IAG (Information, advice and guidance) is a free service that is available to all individuals aged 18 and over.
Probe’s IAG service is intended to assist people towards securing employment opportunities and/or training opportunities.  The service enables clients to make informed choices about their future career options. As a service, we follow the Guidance Council Code of Principles and the National IAG Code of Practice.
At least one private session with a fully qualified, experienced advisor.
Help with identifying your strengths and weaknesses within employability and training and discuss this to identify any training needs you wish to address.
Help with accessing information from the resources available, which may range from leaflets to internet search engines.
An opportunity to identify and explore your preferred career choice and discuss the skills, training and experience required to fulfil your needs.
Assistance in sourcing employment and training opportunities available to you that meet your needs.
Assist you with all aspects of Jobsearch, this may be assistance with filling out an application forms/writing a letter, making a telephone call/sending an e-mail or assistance in writing a Curriculum Vitae (CV)
Help you prepare for a job interview and give you practical advice on interview techniques.
A follow up meeting to discuss your progress and discuss any difficulties that may have arisen and any further assistance you may require.
If there is any aspect we cannot assist with we will do our utmost to refer you to the relevant organisation that can.
